THE BEST COFFEE and Fresh rolls!!! This supermarket is clean with friendly staff and carry all the things I need for my traditional West Indian dishes so I don't have to take a trip to the Bronx.

I went in here the other day to pick up a few things my phones died right before it was time to pay I needed my phone so I could un lock my card anyway I asked the girl behind the counter could I change my phone so I can buy the items she was so nice she Let me charge my phone and was so nice this was much appreciated thank you for being so nice

It's so hard to shop in your own community when the business owners their staff treat the community who are their patrons like they are beneath them. They sell trash to you in chrismas I'm even and then try to speak down to you when you try to hold them accountable. They manager Hugo was so condescending to my mother and completely refused to take any accountability for the blatant padding of meat with scraps that they would never sell to their own to increase the weight. He failed to see or acknowledge that when you sell something in a dishonorable manner there is an expectation that at some point you will be held accountable.I'm the end he discontentedly returned the funds for one pack of meat. There are so little businesses that treat the community members like real people spending their hard earned money and it's sad but at least I wanted to shed light on this one in particular that my mother has shopped at since it opened and happily took her money for years.

Very clean place, the meats looks very clean and fresh. Prices are superb! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Found everything I needed and more for Puerto Rican pasteles and alcapurrias. This is my new to-go place for sure. Did I mention they have Malta India (small and large bottles) and salchichas Carmela? WHAT!!!! Very recommended.

I love fresh produce. I'm from the West Indies and I grew up eating and using fresh fruits and veggies and that's what they have at La Placita. Been going to that same spot for over 25yrs it was called C Town b4 that. Anyways if you want freshness and great dry groceries La Placita is the place
